These hardships forced her into survival mode, leading to periods of living on the streets and engaging in petty theft to meet basic needs. Despite these obstacles, Elissa's resilience propelled her forward, seeking a better life and purpose.

Building a Recruitment Empire

Channeling her determination, Elissa founded Elissa Scott Recruitment Pty Ltd from scratch, without any initial clients or applicants. Her relentless work ethic and strategic vision enabled her to build a successful recruitment firm, allowing her to retire comfortably at the age of 40.

In 2011, driven by a desire to give back, Elissa launched the Homeless No More Charity. Remarkably, without any government funding, the charity achieved a 100% success rate in housing the homeless. Through initiatives like walkathons and a pay-it-forward model, the organization helped individuals reconnect with their families, re-enter the workforce, or even start their own businesses.
